How I got started...

At the age of 16, I picked up my first copy of Muscle and Fitness magazine at the grocery store and instantly fell in love with the hard looking, toned,  fit body on the front cover.  Once I found a gym close to my house, I started my journey towards looking like the healthy, fit body I saw on the magazine cover.

When I turned 19 years old, I discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a Mixed Martial Arts that combines Grappling, Wrestling, Boxing, and Muay Thai.  I trained under Master 3rd Degree Black Belt Marcus Vinicius.  I currently hold a Purple Belt and have competed in 4 Professional MMA fights.  Through out my martial arts training regiment, I continued to work-out at the gym, many times twice a day for up to 4hrs.

I have always felt motivated to train.  If I could live at a gym, I would!  My greatest struggle is my weight.  Throughout the years, I, like many others, yo-yo dieted.  I looked for whatever new gimmick promised me fast, weight loss results.  I can’t believe the amount of time I spent searching for the easiest way to lose weight.  Preparing meals definitely did not come natural to me.  Through extensive research and good old fashioned discipline, I was finally able to commit to a manageable weight-loss program.

One VERY important thing I learned from this long and arduous journey was that when trying to shed the fat and reach a desirable weight, a diet was not going to cut it; it takes a lifelong commitment.  I want to help you achieve your goals and dreams, just like I did.

My training philosophy:  To honor where you stand now, while guiding and supporting you on the road towards change.   Being a size zero means nothing, being healthy means everything.

With determination, hard work and proper information everything is possible!

Here are a few photos of me taken throughout the past 10 years. As you can see, I practice what I preach.  At my heaviest weight I was 196 lbs.  I could have easily passed the 200 lbs mark if I chose not to commit to a healthy lifestyle incorporating both proper nutrition and regular exercise.  Overall, I have lost over 45.6 lbs and 30" in total!  Most importantly I gained strength, energy  and confidence!

Let me help you reach your goals too!
